The Mahomet Music Festival is almost here, and we could use some extra hands to help make the weekend happen!
Volunteer shifts are just 2 hours, with opportunities available Thursday through Sunday. Help with everything from festival setup and parking to wristbands, checkpoints, cleanup and more.

Due to drainage issues due to flooding out at Barber Park, our Splash Pad is closed today but will reopen tomorrow, 8/21 at it's normal times (11am-6pm).

There are only a few weeks left before the splash pad closes for the season so make sure to soak up the sun and head out to Barber Park before it's too late!

We are SO happy to announce that we have found the newest addition to the MPRD Family. We are beyond excited to have Ireland Hieb joining our team as our Sports and Community Coordinator!

Let's hear from her... "Hello! My name is Ireland and I am so excited to join the team here at Mahomet! I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with my Bachelors in Sport Management as well as my Masters in Talent Development. At Eastern, I was a Division 1 athlete on the Women's Volleyball team for 5 seasons. I coach volleyball at Mahomet as well as club at Prime Time VBC. In my free time I love being outside, going to country concerts, being with family, line dancing, and attending sporting events."

We are pumped for what Ireland will bring to our MPRD team and can't wait to see what the future has in store!
