Situated on an 11 acre private island 50 miles north of NYC. The main house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as the first of several drawings commissioned by the owner at the time. As the main house was expensive to build, the owner decided to build the guest cottage first, but didn’t get around to building the main house. Frank himself, visited the island during the construction of the guest co

ttage. Where he explored the pristine land and marveled at its beauty. Some 50 years later, current owner Joe Massaro took on the project that had never been completed and built this beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright designed home in the exact location that Frank had intended it to be. It is the only FLW home to be built after his death, on the exact location he had intended it to be. Making it truly a one of a kind masterpiece.
