We added a huge selection of children’s books and a whole new slate of adult reads. I can tell the mommas are reading now that the kids are back in school—and honestly, we love to see it! 😂

📚 Well, you all wiped out our adult section today and we love to see it! We’ve restocked it with some all-time favorites from a variety of genres, so there’s something for just about every reader.

We also added more books to the kids’ shelf today, too, including touch-and-feel books, books with sounds, and new Level 1 and Level 2 readers for our younger bookworms.

Stop by and see us as you wrap up those summer reading challenges! The kids are back in school, so we’re guessing the grown-ups finally had time to stock up on books for themselves today. 😂

We replaced nearly every book on the kids’ shelf with a fresh selection and added three hot new releases to the adult shelf. 🔥📖

We also added some adorable page turners for your fingers … look for the pink sparkles on the adult shelf! ✨ And be sure to sign our new guest book. Leave us a note about what you’d like us to stock, or tell us how much you or your kids love the library. We’d truly love to hear from you!

📚 Kids: Our children’s shelf is packed with board books, picture books, beginning readers, chapter books, and fun nonfiction. Whether you’re reading to a little one or your young reader is building confidence, there’s something waiting for them!

🗒️✍️There are simply not enough words to thank the incredible people who have quietly stopped by Oberlin’s Little Free Library over the past couple of weeks and left brand-new books on our front porch. ❤️📚

Your generous donations and your kind words mean more than you know. 🩷🩷

One of the greatest compliments we’ve received have come from several moms who have shared that they appreciate not only having free books available for their families, but that so many of them are brand new. And we’re not just talking about the latest new releases. Many of the books in our library have never even been opened, unless it was by me to add our Oberlin Little Free Library stamp inside before placing them on the shelves.

Because of your generosity, families in our community have access to books they may not have otherwise purchased, giving both children and adults the joy of discovering a story that’s truly “new to them.” And we want to wholeheartedly thank you for dropping books off to share.

We are incredibly blessed to have such kind-hearted 🩷 donors who believe, just as we do, that every book deserves a reader and every reader deserves a great book. 📕

Both our adult and kids’ shelves have been restocked, so it’s the perfect time to stop by and discover your next great read!
