We're so excited to introduce the RISE Warm Line, a free peer support resource for Orange County parents and caregivers - launching TODAY! Our peer navigators have been there too, and they're here to listen, support, and help you find your way forward.

You might call if...
- You are feeling overwhelmed and just need someone to talk to
- Your child was just Baker Acted and you aren't sure what comes next
- You need help finding a therapist, specialist, or behavioral health provider
- You want to connect with social services, benefits, or community resources

This is a peer support line - NOT a crisis line. It's for the everyday hard stuff: the questions, the uncertainty, the moments when you just need to talk to someone who gets it. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call or text 911 or 988.

This morning, RISE Community Solutions was honored to attend the State of the County with Mayor Jerry Demings. We are proud of our ongoing partnership with Orange County, Florida Government, who reaffirmed their commitment to families across our community with a powerful announcement of $20 million in annual funding for family programs. We are grateful for our shared belief that strong families build strong communities.

We also want to send our warmest wishes to Mayor Demings and his family as he steps back from his gubernatorial campaign to focus on his health. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Today, RISE Community Solutions was proud to present at the Orange County Public Schools Central Florida Homelessness Education Summit. More than 12,600 students across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties experienced homelessness last year, and we’re grateful to live in a community that wants to show up the best way possible for those kids.

Ana Nascimento and Trinity Kimble led an honest, practical conversation about what housing instability really looks like for adolescents - from the signs educators can recognize, to how instability shapes development, to understanding behavior as communication, to building meaningful connections with families.

When we understand what students are carrying, we can show up for them differently. Thank you to OCPS, Osceola County Public Schools, Seminole County Public Schools, and all of the amazing educators who came today!

Last year, we had the honor of celebrating LaVell Monger as our New Generation Award recipient at our first annual RISE Together event!

As co-owner of RTW Photography, LaVell has invested over $100,000 in pro-bono services for nonprofits, small businesses, and students. He serves as the first Black Chair in the history of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce and advocates tirelessly for youth and emerging leaders across Osceola County.
