Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Boots & Bubbles, benefiting Chamber member Breaking Chains - Henderson County Coalition Against Family Violence on Nov. 7 at the CR Legacy Event Center for an evening of live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, mystery grab bags, BBQ, charcuterie, sweets, music and more, all while supporting an important cause right here in Henderson County.
*Sponsorships are available now, ranging from $500 to $2,500, and individual tickets are $75. Proceeds stay in Henderson County to help provide services, resources and support for individuals impacted by domestic violence.
The mission of Breaking Chains is two-fold. First, we will provide services, support, and resources to individuals impacted by domestic violence. We will assist with finding shelter, obtaining comprehensive protection from offenders, and providing emotional and educational support to those we serve. We are dedicated to breaking the chains of family violence, rebuilding the self-worth of those affected by it, and offering them a new direction for their lives. Second, we will raise public awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence within Henderson County, educate our community on identifying and preventing family violence, and build a network of people and organizations to assist with the services we offer and the mission we embrace.
