Good evening MPS stakeholders,

Earlier this evening, the Malden School Committee voted unanimously to accept the recommended finalists for Superintendent from the Superintendent Search Committee.

The candidates have been formally notified and have all agreed to move forward to the public interview process.

The 4 candidates will be invited to the district to tour schools, meet MPS employees, caregivers and stakeholders, and hold a formal, public interview with the School Committee. These dates will be finalized over the next 24-48 hours.

Sunday, I joined Steve Ultrino for State Representative, Christenson for Mayor, Elizabeth Hortie - Malden School Committee Member - Ward 5, Councillors at Large City Councillor Carey McDonald and Karen Colón Hayes, Principal Adam Weldai, and many others at Ward 5 Councillor Ari Taylor's Ward 5 Community Dinner!
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with City of Malden (Official) constituents and elected officials. I am grateful to work with such an engaged community!
