Brothers and sisters, it’s time to celebrate! We’re honored to announce the upcoming MFD Banquet, a night dedicated to recognizing the incredible dedication and achievements of our members. We’re proud to be honoring 13 retirees for their years of service and celebrating 21 well-deserved promotions.

This is a special event for the entire MFD family. All active and retired members, along with your families, are cordially invited to join us for an evening of camaraderie, dinner, and dancing. Let’s come together to toast our honorees and celebrate the spirit of our department!

Last night, at approximately 23:13, E2 E1 L3 and Car 2 responded to Sylvan Street for the rollover. Members were able to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the driver, who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Members of our Honor Guard attended today’s Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the Massachusetts State House, where FF Michael Buckley’s brick was added to the Ring Of Honor.

We are proud to honor FF Buckley’s memory and ensure his service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Today was the final day of a large scale regional training series. This evolution had Malden and Medford Fire working hand in hand for victim removal from under concrete and a vehicle, in addition to an evolution on basement rescues. Over the  past 6 weeks Malden, Medford, Melrose, Everett, Chelsea, Revere, Lynn, Wakefield and Somerville have all participated in these trainings, as well as warehouse/grocery store search and rescue plus commercial space fire attack.
