If you saw a large smoke column yesterday on base...yes, that was us! Malmstrom FES partnered with the Wildland Support Module out of Ellsworth AFB to conduct a prescribed burn of a large brush pile near the fire department training grounds. This burn provided a training opportunity for our newest members on fire behavior, chemistry, and environmental influence.

The Malmstrom Fire Department is excited to announce the return of its annual golf tournament. This year marks our second event, and we are looking forward to welcoming participants and supporters for a day of fun and friendly competition.

The tournament will take place on Friday, May 22nd at Hickory Swing Golf Course.

Attendees can look forward to prizes and delicious food throughout the event. We aim to provide a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The week of December 8-11, Threat Suppression personnel provided four days of active assailant training at Malmstrom Air Force Base. We are very proud that one of the pictures the base Public Affairs took of the training was selected as a top 10 picture for the week for the entire Air Force! Way to go, Malmstrom Air Force Base!
