It's official! Filing was completed this morning. Now that my baseball team's season has sadly come to an end, I'll be hitting the campaign trail harder than ever. I'll be revisiting some of the neighborhoods and trying to meet with those that I've missed. I get more and more excited about the opportunity to serve as your Sheriff every day.

Be watching for our booth at Prospector's Days in Republic and Barrel Derby Days in Curlew. I look forward to conversation, answering questions and meeting you.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to reach out and let you know how much I've enjoyed meeting with you and having the in depth discussions that we've had. It has been a tremendous learning experience and a great way for me to meet residents of Ferry County that I hadn't previously met. Everybody's thoughts, ideas, questions and concerns help add to my plan on how to better serve and protect Ferry County residents and their property.

Let's set up a time to meet! It can be one on one, or get a group of your neighbors together for coffee. I've met a lot of really great people and made many new friends over the last few weeks. Ferry County has some really fantastic residents. This is a beautiful place and I am proud to call it home.

I am excited to announce that I am running for Ferry County Sheriff as a Republican.

I have a strong desire to serve the people of Ferry County. Property rights, drug enforcement, combating theft, staffing, and transparency within the Sheriff's Office are my highest priorities.

Ferry County is home to my family. I graduated from Curlew High School in 1993 and immediately joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served as an infantry rifleman for four years. Shortly after my honorable discharge, I was hired as a Deputy Sheriff for Ferry County. I served as a patrolman and narcotics detective for seven years. In 2005, I left the Sheriff's Office and started a career with the U.S. Border Patrol in Yuma, Arizona. In 2008, I returned to the Curlew Border Patrol station and continued border operations and served as a K9 handler. In the fall of 2025, I decided it was time to retire and concentrate on the upcoming election and return to work for Ferry County.

Drugs and theft go hand in hand and I am eager to tackle our growing problem head on. I understand there is a lot to be done with a limited budget, but I am willing to take on the challenge.

If given the opportunity to serve as your Sheriff, I plan on immediately reviewing the hiring procedures for all departments and being fully involved in the process. I will also place a strong emphasis on timely and professional responses to all citizen complaints.
