Snocross is back in Franklin County NY, at our Franklin County Fair Grounds, March 9th & 10th, 8am - 4pm, tickets are available at the gate, $12 a day or $20 for the weekend, $5.00 parking, if you want to go to the Pit area, they have Pit Passes $10 concession stand available.

The 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, is planning a Aviation Readiness Building Exercise called Falcon's Peak. The training is starting Monday April 9, 2018 and concluding Monday April 16, 2018. The main purpose of the event is to provide a realistic aviation-focused exercise that simulates a "near-peer" threat within difficult terrain. There will be an increased military presence throughout the North Country.

There are multiple heavy vehicle convoys traversing the roadways Monday April 9, 2018 morning heading from Fort Drum to Camp Johnson, VT and Tahawus Mines in Newcomb NY. The routes of travel will be State Route 11 to VT. State Route 3 to State Route 30 to State Route 28N to Tahawus Mines.

You will be receiving a robo call.

" This call is to advise you to that Fort Drum personnel are going to be conducting night time aviation maneuvers in Essex, St Lawrence, Hamilton, Franklin and Clinton counties. State police are aware. These night time activities are going to start on Monday April 9, 2018 continue until Monday April 16, 2018. Be aware that there will also be heavy military vehicle traffic to plan travel accordingly. Thank you"

On Thursday (2/8/18) at 5:30am National Grid will have an outage for about one hour to make repairs to the mobile substation at Elm Street.
The same areas will be impacted that were on Tuesday’s brief interruption.
