HELP WANTED-PART-TIME SEASONAL LABORER-TOWN OF MALONE: The Town of Malone is seeking applications to fill a part-time (20 hours per week) seasonal position of Laborer. The position requires recurring manual work involving assisting with construction and renovation, loading and unloading trucks, stacking supplies and materials, general grounds maintenance activities, and performing general clean-up work, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful applicant must reside in Franklin County at least thirty (30) days prior to application and have experience with manual labor. Applications will be accepted until position is filled, and should be submitted to the Supervisor, Town of Malone, 27 Airport Road, Malone, NY 12953. HELP WANTED -- The Town of Malone is seeking applicants to fill the Town Clerk/Receiver of Taxes position, a full-time (30 hours per week) position. This position requires dealing with the public, issuing sportsman licenses, other certain licenses and permits, organizing and maintaining town records, filing reports, posting legal notices, attending board meetings and taking minutes, managing computer programs and office equipment, completing other unspecified tasks as needed for the successful operation of the Town of Malone Office, in accordance with NY State rules and regulations. The successful applicant MUST live in the Town or Village of Malone, have the ability to be bonded, and pass a background check. Town of Malone is an equal opportunity employer. Update: CULVERT HAS BEEN REPLACED AND ROAD IS OPEN.

ATTENTION: ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Immediate Closure Until Further Notice

Please be advised that the road is closed effective immediately and will remain closed until further notice.

The closure is located 3.5 miles from State Route 11B South on the Limekiln Road and just before Clark/Ryder Road.

Please plan alternate routes and avoid the area until the road reopens.
