Malvern Pool Update 08/13/2026):
The Malvern Pool will be closed for the remainder of the season due to a failure of the pool's main pump. While the pump remained functional during season, concerns about its failure in late June prompted the City to obtain quotes to replace the aging pump. We had hoped that the existing pump would continue to function until the end of the season, when a new pump could be installed following closure, but this did not happen. A pool contractor will be on site over the next few months to replace the pool pump and address several other necessary upgrades in the pool's mechanical room. This will ensure that the pool is able to open on time and experience less closures throughout the 2027 season. Additionally, the pool vessel is expected to be painted following drain down and cleaning in Spring 2027. We appreciate the public’s understanding and patience as we work to improve the pool.

Good morning. Due to pump failure, we will not be open today. We are working on trying to get it fixed. We will do our best to repair it, but if we are unable to fix the pump, unfortunately, this would be the end of our season.

Good morning. The pool will open at noon today. With the rain and air temperature, the pool water is cooler at 74°. Hopefully the temperature of the water rebounds a bit.
