Malvern Parks & Recreation

Malvern Parks & Recreation Malvern has 3.0 acres of active parkland and over 40 acres of passive recreational parkland.

Our Parks and Recreation Department is managed by a Parks and Recreation Committee. They keep a calendar of those persons interested in making reservations at the public parks, arrange for seasonal entertainment in the park, and decorate the gazebo and large tree for the Christmas holiday season. The three principal park areas are highlighted below. Samuel & M. Elizabeth Burke Park Burke Park, just one block away from the Borough Hall, is 1.4 acres. It is used mainly for festivals, concerts and general recreation. The Gazebo and beautifully landscaped area are perfect for outdoor events. Theodore S.A. Rubino Memorial Park Rubino Park, our newest recreation area, has 15,000 square feet of play area with a Gazebo entrance. It has been a wonderful addition to the corner of Broad Street and Old Lincoln Highway. With recently added play equipment, the area is fenced in for child safety and provides a great place for picnics and children to play. The Horace J. Quann Memorial Park (formerly First Ave. Park) Horace J. Quann Memorial Park is 1.6 acres and is probably our most active recreation area. It supports baseball, basketball, and open space for volleyball and other activities. It is located at First and Warren Avenues, across from the Borough Hall. Randolph Woods Randolph Woods is a large passive recreation area accessed via Second and Ruthland Avenues. The wooded areas of this area contains a myriad of 'primitive trails' - unpaved packed - earth surfaces. These trails are well suited to walkers and hikers. It is possible to walk from the Borough to Willistown's Greentree Park through Randolph Woods.

Ray of hope: Louisville neighborhoods ease coronavirus isolation with hand-drawn rainbows

As we all practice safe social distancing, join our community members, and communities across the world, to share rainbows of hope.

"It’s easy. No human contact. Get fresh air. Make a rainbow and then hunt for others."

πŸ–πŸ–Œ1. Color, paint, or print a rainbow and put it inside your window. Or create a chalk masterpiece on your sidewalk or driveway.

πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ2. Take a walk or drive and see how many rainbows you can find.

πŸ“ΈπŸŒˆ 3. Share pictures of your rainbows here for those who aren't able to get out. You can use the hashtag #rainbowaroundtheworld.

Hi. Are there any more movie night coming up or is it finished for the season?
Please be careful. At monument battlefield park, A little boy was rolling down the hill on the field side of the baseball field and rolled right into a nest of bees. Looks like there is a huge swarm living in the ground right by the bottom corner of the hill.
