Think measles is just a childhood illness? Think again!

In Pennsylvania, over 65% of reported cases have been adults over the age of 18. Measles can affect people of all ages when they are not protected against measles.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, caregiver, or simply an adult who isn’t sure about your immunity, it is important to know your measles vaccination status.

Pennsylvania measles data: pa.gov/measles.

For vaccination options in Chester County, visit chesco.org/measles or call 610-344-6225.

If you have time. Please consider donating.

Join Goshen Fire Company Friday, October 9 at 6 pm for their Fire Prevention Open House!

Our third tip during Fire Prevention week is about charging larger item batteries outside. Charge large items like e-bikes, scooters, and power tools outside when possible. Do not block exits when charging. These batteries store more energy, and fires can grow quickly if they fail. For more info: https://www.fpw.org/
