🦊 Wildlife Alert: Sick Foxes Spotted in the Borough
Residents have reported foxes with mange in the area — a contagious but treatable skin condition caused by mites. Affected foxes may have patchy fur, scabby skin, or look thin and lethargic.

Please: 🚫 Don't feed foxes — it draws them closer to homes and can spread disease 🚫 Don't try to treat or handle a fox yourself (it's also illegal without a permit) ✅ Keep pets and trash secured ✅ If you see a fox in real distress, contact the PA Game Commission at 833-PGC-WILD, or as suggested by the numerous comments in this post, contact a wildlife rehabilitator. (Thank you for the suggestion, Malvern!)

Foxes with strong immune systems may naturally recover from mange if the infection is not too severe. — the best thing we can do is give them space.

Malvern Community Day was a blast! 🎉

A huge thank you to all our exhibitors, commissions, committees, and local organizations for joining us — and to our food vendors for keeping everyone fed!

Thank you to our Borough Council, Mayor Pete, and Borough Manager Whitaker for their support, and to the Malvern Police Department, Fire Company, and Public Works team for making it all run smoothly.

Above all, thank you to our community for showing up today. The music was awesome, the food was delicious, and the company was even better.
