🦴🍝 Who knew paleontology could be this fun? 🍝🦴

We had an absolute blast at the library today for our Pasta Paleontology event! As part of our Unearth a Story summer reading program, our brilliant young scientists traded in their shovels for some pasta and glue.

Check out these photos of our future paleontologists constructing incredible dinosaur skeletons out of different pasta shapes! 🦖✨ From lasagna spines to macaroni ribs, their creativity was off the charts.

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that the library will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of Juneteenth.

Closed: Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th

Reopening: Monday, June 22nd at our normal hours.

While our doors are closed, our digital library is always open! You can still access e-books, audiobooks, and streaming resources 24/7 through our website and apps.

We had a blast unearthing some giant-sized fun with Big Poppa Bubble as part of our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program! From bubbles bigger than a T-Rex to floating foam creations, our lawn was filled with pure magic and lots of laughs.

We are thrilled to share a very special addition to our library. Today, a beautifully crafted 250th Anniversary Commemorative Betsy Ross flag was officially presented to the Malvern-Hot Spring County Library!

This historic 13-star design serves as a powerful reminder of our nation’s early foundations, unity, and enduring spirit.

A huge thank you to Woodmen Life for this incredibly generous donation. Because of your support, our library visitors can connect with a piece of living history right here in our halls.

Whether you are a history buff, a student, or just stopping by to pick up your next great read, we invite you to come view this beautiful tribute to our heritage. A special display case is being built for the flag. As soon as the case is ready, the flag will be on display at the library.

☀️🫧 BUBBLES, BUBBLES, EVERYWHERE! 🫧☀️

Get ready to unearth some giant-sized fun TONIGHT! As part of our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program, we are hosting the amazing Big Poppa Bubble for an evening of jaw-dropping, massive bubble magic!

📍 Where: Centennial Park
⏰ When: Tonight at 5:30 PM

This is a free event perfect for the whole family. Witness giant bubbles floating through the park and learn a bit of the science behind how they're made!
