CVG members did a collection of food for Operation143 . Operation143 provides two weekends worth of food for students in our community. This week we will also be helping out at pack night packing the weekend bags!

Our collection was:
60 packs of variety snack packs
80 pack of Rice Krispie treats
30 packs of Cheezits
8 packs of cracker sandwiches
12 pack of cheese crackers
20 fruit cups
18 pudding cups
pack of Capri Sun juices
4 pack of protein shakes
24 cups of applesauce
144 packs of pop tarts

CVG members and our community members came together to donate to Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County . MCHC is a nonprofit organization providing family support and education services so that families can put their best foot forward.

Our collection yielded 47 boys articles of clothing and 105 girls articles of clothing as well as several bags full of stuffed animals!

In February, two Chester Valley Grange members rescued 3 Yorkies from Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue Inc. and our members decided to donate items off their wish list of needs.

We donated:
8 rolls of toilet paper
5 notebooks
20 pens
7 bags of dog food
34 sweaters and shirts for dogs
3 bags of cat treats
49 dog toys
1 dog harness

For the holidays, CVG members took hand made cards to the VA Medical Center of Coatesville. We also made hot chocolate kits for the residents. We were able to donate 50 hot chocolate kits, 178 cards, 24 pairs of socks, and 11 deodorants.

In December, CVG members collected toys and baby items for Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County for the holidays. Through all of their donations this holiday they were able to provide Christmas to more than 600 children.

We were able to donate:
2 large stuffed animals
baby wrap set
sippy bottles
hair brush
nail decals
nail polish
playing cards
3 silicone bibs
3 silicone trays
5 hot wheels
5 baby powders
1 baby wash
10 children's cds
20 pairs of girls socks
30 pairs of boys socks
42 baby blankets
1 scarf and hat set

For Veterans Day, CVG members made veterans at VA Medical Center in Coatesville 50 hand made cards thanking them for their service and delivered them.

CVG members packaged together "Snowman Soup" and donated stockings for Stockings for Soldiers located in Delaware. We donated 130 stockings and 100 packages of "snowman soup", 7 hats, 8 gators, 2 pairs of gloves, and 24 pairs of crew socks.

Once again this year, two of our Grange members made hand made ornaments for Barnstone Art For Kids holiday fundraiser. These ornaments were sold in December for $50 each. Every dollar goes back to their mission-driven work to provide trauma-informed art programs to children and youth facing adversity in Phoenixville.

In November, CVG donated items to Pickering Valley Needlework Guild. Items were then distributed to organizations in the area to give to those most in need. We were able to donate 700 items. We work on collecting and hand making these items through out the year. Items included:
