🏈Malvern loses a tough one to East Palestine on the road 43-25. The Hornets battled back from an early 15-0 deficit to take the lead on multiple occasions, but couldn’t get defensive stops when needed in the 2nd half. Luke Thomas had a big night with 4 TD’s. Malvern (1-2) travel to Mogadore next Friday night.🐝

🏐 Hornet Volleyball! 🐝

Our JV and Varsity Volleyball teams took on TCC this evening and gave it everything they had! Both teams battled hard, showed tremendous heart, and never gave up until the final point. 💪🏐

Our middle school football game against Conotton Valley was cut short this evening due to weather. After one half of play, the Hornets are leading 24–6! 💪🐝

We’ll finish the game at a later date.

🐝 We’ve had a GREAT start to the 2026–2027 school year!

Just a reminder to all Malvern families: there will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, September 4th, and NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

🔬 6th Grade Science is off to a great start!

Our 6th graders did an awesome job completing their first middle school lab! 🧪 They tested the strength of different paper towels, practiced their scientific skills, and had fun learning through hands-on investigation.

Today is the last day to sign up for the pep bus for this Friday’s game at East Palestine. The bus will be leaving at 5:30.

All High School students have received an email from Ms Sarbaugh to sign up to be considered for Homecoming Court. Please complete the Google form by Friday September 11th

The Malvern Drama Department will be performing Pick your Poison, a murder mystery play on Friday & Saturday November 13 and 14th here in the Cafeteria. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 15 from three until four in the choir room. During the audition, everyone will read together. Sample Scripts will be available next week to be picked up in the choir room.

Malvern 25-25-21-25, Newcomerstown 17-20-25-19: Skye Harmon had 18 points and four aces as Malvern defeated Newcomerstown. Whtiney Smith added 17 kills for the Hornets. Ashlyn Bush recorded 32 assists, and Avery Sprague had 25 digs for Malvern.
