The Village of Mamaroneck Democrats reserve the right to delete posts which we believe are materially inaccurate or defamatory. We may elect to block persons who have historically posted such material on this or other social media sites. Persons representing opposing candidates' campaign committees will be blocked for the duration of the election cycle. Our Objective:

romote the small town character, diversity and unique natural environment of our coastal village and:
* Invite & encourage resident participation in Village government
* Make government decision-making transparent
* Enforce laws & policies fairly and consistently
* Keep taxes as low as possible while providing efficient municipal services and promoting public safety
* Keep our downtown area business and resident friendly
* Protect our cherished natural environment
* Ensure that development and land use policies are created and applied on a logical basis
* Build on our diversity to create a vibrant community for everyone
The principles outlined above must be applied on a consistent basis in a rational, reasonable and mature manner that respects the Village’s past and prepares us for the challenges of tomorrow. As so clearly stated on the Village’s Comprehensive Plan, “Our success is the result of Village residents, businesses, local government and institutions coming together in deliberate action to realize our collective vision of what Mamaroneck can and should be.”
If we focus on our vision, and consistently apply the principles outlined above, we believe that these challenges can become opportunities for us to improve our community.
