🌞😎🌻🌄🏖🍉🎣For this 2026 summer, the Children’s Library and Program rooms of the Mammoth Lakes Library will be set up every Wednesday at 10:30 AM for DIY-style fun and engagement. Each Wednesday’s setup will provide themed opportunities for reading, exploring, playing, and crafts. Littles and their grownups are encouraged to utilize this program and connect with others in a space that’s advantageous for early childhood development! 🌞😎🌻🌄🏖🍉🎣

Happy June! Your library updates are as follows:
1. Summer Reading Challenge is ramping up for a start date that the end of this month. Go into your library branch for more information on sign ups, prizes, and more!
2. Celebrate World Oceans Day by participating in the poster competition on June 8th.
3. Raising A Reader party is happening on June 3rd during Storytime! Come celebrate your early reader with this fun send off party.
4. Virtual Author Talks are available to everyone! Tune into a new or long time favorite author as they discuss their work. Remember, these are virtual events so you can attend them from anywhere and at anytime! Head to www.libraryc.org/monocolibraries for more information.
5. Just One More Chapter Book Club is reading The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin this month. We look forward to seeing everyone June 30th to discuss! 6. Brown Bag Book Club is getting ready for a great summer! The first book is Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger! Bring your lunch for a great discussion.
6. D&D Spring Session is winding down for Summer Break. Stay Tuned on what is happening in August!
