Thanks to Bishop Chamber Of Commerce and Visit Mammoth, we have a refreshed and updated Eastern Sierra Fall Color map for this year!

It's on the way to the printer now - we will start delivering it to Mono County businesses in the next few weeks.

WID Station Schedule Changes

Beginning Monday, August 17, Bishop and Bridgeport watercraft inspection and decontamination (WID) stations will be open Thursday through Monday and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Open: Thursday through Monday
Bishop: 6:30am to 3:00pm
Bridgeport: 7:30am to 3:30pm

Coming to Mono County on Tuesday or Wednesday? Please…
- Stop at Crowley Lake Fish Camp (open daily) for a $20 inspection
- Rent a boat locally
- Wait until Thursday to have your boat inspected before launching

Call: 760-873-0409 during WID operating hours 6:30am and 3:30pm Thurs through Mon.

Inspections are required before launching. You may refuse an inspection, but your boat will not be allowed to launch, and launching without an inspection is in violation of local ordinance which may result in fines or jail time.

More importantly, skipping inspection could result in the introduction of golden mussels which would devastate fishing, boating, recreation, and the local economy of this place you love.
