We have seen a consistent resistance presence in front of Bishop City Park for four weeks now with new folks joining the protests. With the evenings getting cooler, mornings are also cooler which makes standing on a corner in Bishop more pleasant. There's been lots of positive reactions of support from both passing pedestrians and drivers. Join this weekly event tomorrow! We are !

More than 50 people have died in ICE custody since Trump has been in office in January 2025. There have been 𝟯 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 of innocent people in the last few weeks. 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟮𝟱 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡!

📢Upcoming events in Mammoth and Bishop!

Our public lands are being threatened and our only chance to fight it is to stand together and let our voices be heard. Find out about the latest threat to the hot creek area and what you can do to help at 3 upcoming events.

Mammoth will not have a protest on June 14 as part of the nationwide No Kings protest, but there will be one in Bishop and we hope to see you all there!

We will, however, be hosting a rally against the hot creek mining on June 19th by Stellar Brew.

Stand up, fight back! These are our lands, and our voices matter.

This Friday in Mammoth!

Come get some ice cream and meet Congressional candidate Michael Masuda.

As many of you know, Mammoth has been part of California District 3 under Congressman Kevin Kiley. With the changes from Prop 50, Mammoth will be moving to California District 5 under Tom Mcclintock, a conservative republican endorsed by Donald Trump.

Michael Masuda is a democratic candidate running against incumbent Mcclintock. Our new district is heavily red, so every vote counts if we stand a chance of flipping this new district.

Come meet Michael Masuda and ask the important questions!

Remember: we recommend that mail in ballots are postmarked by May 22nd. If you're not able to make that deadline, you can still vote in person on June 2 or drop your ballot in a local drop box. There are several locations throughout Mono County.
