Trashy Thursdays kick-off this week!

Thursday, June 25
5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mammoth Lakes Library

Trashy Thursdays is a community partnership between the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Mammoth Lakes Tourism, the U.S. Forest Service, Mammoth Lakes Recreation, Waste Connections, and local volunteers, all working together to keep Mammoth Lakes clean.

Meeting Thursdays throughout the summer, volunteers are provided with trash bags and litter grabbers to clean up litter around town. Join us and make a difference.

Join us for Trashy Thursdays and help keep Mammoth clean. New this year: events will take place on the last Thursday of each month, June–September.

Meet us from 5–7 PM to help clean up, then enjoy complimentary food from a local establishment. Don’t miss out, join the fun and make a positive impact together.

Swing by our website to get more info and future dates/locations for this season.

What a great way to give back and explore this special place!!

We need your help! Join us at Valentine Reserve on Saturday, June 20th at 9am to help rebuild a vital section of boardwalk trail. 🥾

Not only do our youth summer camps, public tour attendees, and researchers rely on these trails, but the boardwalks also protect the important meadow and forest habitat that is home to wildflowers, birds, bears, and more. 🐻🦉🌼

Please RSVP via email to Emily Zujewski, Outreach Coordinator, at [email protected] by Wednesday, June 17th. Please bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, sun protective clothing, closed-toe shoes, and work gloves, if you have them. We will begin work at 9:00am and wrap up by 2:00pm. Please indicate how long you will be able to participate in your RSVP email.
