Homeownership
Habitat for Humanity Prince William County uses tax-deductible donations of money and materials and volunteer labor to build or rehab homes in partnership with families who face significant challenges in becoming homeowners. Partner families are qualified based on their need for housing, their ability to pay for a mortgage, and their willingness to provide “sweat equity” volunteer la
bor. The family then purchases the home with a zero-profit mortgage and affordable terms for payment. Home Repair
Our Critical Home Repair, Home Preservation and Weatherization programs help low- to moderate-income homeowners make home repairs that alleviate health, life and safety issues or housing code violations. From minor exterior repairs to critical home repairs and accessibility modifications, we give families a hand-up to live with dignity in safe, decent homes. For more information about the Home Repair or Homeownership application process, call 703-369-6708 or e-mail [email protected]
