CFH

CFH CFH programs offer housing stability for people with low or moderate incomes in Northern Virginia. CFH was founded by a group of Catholic Laity and Fr.

Gerard Creedon in 1979 in response to the Catholic Bishops’ letter, “A Right to a Decent Home”. Today, CFH is governed by a board of Directors and receives technical support from an Advisory Board. CFH currently provides housing options on a non-discriminatory basis throughout Northern Virginia:

CFH has an Executive Director and Program Manager to administer the CFH programs.

We’re excited to share that Prince William Senior Resource Group (PWSRG) has selected CFH’s Senior Emergency Assistance Programas the beneficiary of its Happy Hour With A Purpose fundraiser!

Proceeds from the event will help CFH provide critical assistance to local seniors facing unexpected expenses and financial challenges that can threaten their ability to remain safely and independently housed.

CFH Mobile Pantry is so thankful for the support from Cox Farms! During the summer months, they have donated hundreds of pounds of vegetables grown right on their local farm. Their partnership goes beyond just vegetables, and during the fall months they donate delicacies like their famous donuts and popcorn.

CFH is expanding its reach!

We’re excited to announce that CFH is expanding two critical housing stability programs into Fauquier, Madison, Culpeper, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties.

Our Security Deposit Assistance Program helps income-qualified households overcome the upfront cost of securing safe, stable rental housing, while our Senior Emergency Assistance Program provides support to low-income seniors facing unexpected expenses that could threaten their ability to remain safely housed.

This expansion allows CFH to reach more Virginia residents with practical support when they need it most—helping prevent homelessness, preserve housing stability, and create foundations for hope.
