PALCUS PALCUS is the national organizations representing the more than 2 million Portuguese and Portuguese-Americans living in the United States.

Why PALCUS is Needed
• To provide a constant voice on Capitol Hill for the Portuguese-American community-at-large.
• To ensure that issues affecting the Portuguese community are addressed.
• To make sure Portuguese-Americans and Portuguese residents in the United States receive all rights and benefits to which they are entitled.
• To assist Portuguese-Americans further their success academically,

professionally and culturally.
• To foster collaboration between the Portuguese government and the Portuguese-American community so we preserve the Portuguese culture and language in the United States.

PALCUS is proud to support Luso-American Education Foundation (LAEF) as they host their Annual Pelicas-Rosario Golf Tournament on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Manteca Park Golf Course!

Last year was a record-breaking success—raising nearly $35,000 for Luso Youth Scholarships thanks to 52 golfers and 80 supporters who came out to support a great cause.
