Honored to celebrate OmniRide’s 40th Anniversary and their new fleet!

For 40 years, OmniRide has connected riders to jobs, services, and community. I’ll keep supporting transit investments that get folks directly from Point A to Point B. These new buses, complete with restrooms for longer routes, make those trips even safer and more comfortable.

Here’s to 40 years of service and many more miles ahead!🎉

Today kicks off Virginia’s 3-Day Sales Tax Holiday (Friday, August 7 – Sunday, August 9)

Before the kids head back to school, now is the time to check off those supply lists without paying state or local sales tax.

What qualifies for tax-free savings?

✏️ School supplies: $20 or less per item (backpacks, binders, notebooks, pens)

👟 Clothing & footwear: $100 or less per item (shirts, jeans, sneakers)

🔦 Emergency preparedness items: $60 or less (generators under $1,000)

🌱 Energy Star & WaterSense products: $2,500 or less

Last night, we officially kicked off our new all inclusive adaptive playground project with KABOOM!, which is being built in partnership with Amazon and Prince William County Parks & Recreation.

We need a little help in our community!❤️

For only the second time ever, the American Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis. Summer donations have dropped to a four year low, and local supplies are urgently running short.

I popped into a donation center as a walk-in today and was taken care of right away. If you have a free hour this week, consider rolling up your sleeves…it's super quick, easy, and makes a huge difference for neighbors in need.

National Night Out really shows what community is all about. Stepping out from behind the badge to share some genuine laughs and connect with neighbors on a personal level is what keeps Prince William strong. When law enforcement and the community come together as one team, real trust gets built.

A huge thank you to all the brave men and women in law enforcement who put on the uniform every day, and to every single neighbor who came out to make the evening so special. It’s those personal conversations and shared moments that make this work so rewarding.❤️
