This morning, six dedicated advocates were officially sworn in by the Honorable Judge Jacqueline Lucas! After completing more than 30 hours of training, these advocates are ready to take the next step in their journey. They will now begin the process of being assigned cases, where they can put their knowledge and training into action to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children they serve.

We are so proud of their commitment, dedication, and willingness to serve their community. Please join us in congratulating our newest advocates as they begin this important work!

Last night, we were honored to be recognized as a grant recipient of The Giving Circle of Heritage Hunt at their grant awards ceremony. We are incredibly grateful for this generous support and for the opportunity to share our mission and the impact of our work with such a compassionate and community-minded group.

The Giving Circle of Heritage Hunt brings people together through collective giving to support local nonprofits that help individuals and families in need. By investing in organizations addressing essential needs, including food, clothing, shelter, literacy, and mental and physical health, they are making a meaningful difference in the community.

We are currently training seven dedicated new advocates who are completing their 30+ hours of training to prepare for their important role advocating for children in our community. Next week, they will take the exciting next step as they are officially sworn in by the judge!

We’re also proud to be using Virginia’s newly rolled-out statewide CASA training curriculum. As an early adopter, we’ve welcomed observers from other CASA programs across Virginia who are eager to see the training in action as they prepare to implement it in their own programs. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from one another and support the continued growth of CASA advocacy across the Commonwealth.

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on JJ Multimedia Productions VA, LLC, the talented team who helped bring our gala to life through their incredible photography and videography.

Not only did their team capture the beautiful moments and energy of the evening, but they were also behind the powerful video we shared during our Live Appeal. Their storytelling helped us connect with our guests and bring the heart of our mission to the room in a meaningful way.

Working with JJ Multimedia Productions has been such a wonderful experience. Their creativity, professionalism, and ability to capture the moments that matter have made them a valued community partner, and we’re grateful to have them alongside us.
