The book fair begins next week!
🚶Attending the book fair:
-If you would like to attend with your child, ask their teacher when their scheduled shopping time is. The book fair will be open to families after kindergarten graduation, as well.
-We have changed the date for afterschool shopping! You are invited to join us after school on Monday, May 15th until 4:30.
-Families, please park in the front and sign in at the front office, except during dismissal, when we ask that you park in the back of the school.

Our judges chose 6 winning bookmarks out of 100+ submissions for our Library Bookmark Contest. Our students chose to celebrate Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion, Dog Man by Dav Pilkey, The Gumazing Gum Girl by Rhode Montijo, The Sand Warrior by Mark Siegel, Smile by Raina Telgemeier, and I Promise by LeBron James! To celebrate the end of the school year, Menchaca Caldecott winner Raissa Figueroa led our K-2 students in a fabulous art project! Students gave their mermaids beautiful, colorful afros and listened to Raissa read her book Oona by Kelly DiPucchio! 🐴
