On Wednesday, we joined NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire and project partners to celebrate progress at the Apartments at Pearl & Orange.

The former Pearl Street parking lot will become home to 126 new apartments, 12 townhomes, and a 455-space parking garage. It’s exciting to see this project taking shape and adding much-needed housing to Manchester. We’re proud to support this investment in our city!

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the newly upgraded Youngsville Playground. This is a great investment in Ward 6, giving families in the neighborhood and across Manchester an improved space to gather, play, and enjoy.

Thank you to our Parks & Recreation, Alderman Kantor, and the Board of Aldermen for all the work that went into making these improvements possible. We’re excited to see Ward 6 families and residents across Manchester enjoy the upgraded playground.

Yesterday, we announced the creation of the Sununu Youth Services Center Property Task Force to ensure the residents of Manchester have a strong voice in the future of this property.

As the State moves forward with the sale and redevelopment process, this Task Force will bring together residents, community stakeholders, and City leaders to ensure Manchester’s interests are represented every step of the way.

Huge crowd this morning for the ribbon cutting of Karsyn’s Gelato & Bake Shop!

A great new addition to Manchester’s West Side, Karsyn’s is located at 171 Kelley St. and is serving up gelato and fresh baked goods, giving neighbors and visitors another great spot to stop in and enjoy something sweet.

It’s great to see another business investing in the West Side and adding to our city. Congratulations to the Karsyn’s team!
