Today we proudly recognize our Parkway School District School Resource Officers and School Safety Officers for National School Resource Officer & Security Day.

Every day they balance safety, compassion, and professionalism, from keeping traffic moving safely in the morning to being a trusted adult students can turn to during difficult moments. Their work often happens quietly, but its impact is felt across every building and every classroom.

Meet the security department. Meet Michael Oldani. Michael is our new day dispatcher. Michael has been with Parkway security for about 3 months now and has been rolling ever since. Michael says his favorite Parkway memory so far is how Parkway has made him feel so welcome being the new guy. When Michael is not at work you can find him fly fishing and making his own lures. Michael is a talented guy and is also known for his cast iron restorations. Michael finds his job very rewarding and loves helping to keep the district safe. We are so happy to continue growing team security and grateful to have Michael on board with us.

Please join us in congratulating Cpl. Luke Myers in his promotion to Lieutenant. Lt. Myers will be taking over the duties of former Lt. Debi Donoho and will be a security officer supervisor. We are excited for this change in leadership and are looking forward to the new ideas and changes that Luke has to offer. Congratulations Luke.

Join us in congratulating Lt. Debi Donoho on her retirement at Parkway. Lt. Donoho has been with us for just over 5 years and will be missed. We appreciate the years of service and leadership she has provided the staff and students here at Parkway and we know that the future will be bright for her. Thank you for all you have done and we hope you enjoy your retirement.

SRO Spotlight- Meet St. Louis County Officer Tom Noel. Tom is an SRO at Fern Ridge High and has been an officer for over 14 years. Tom said he enjoys creating a safe environment for students and staff while leaving a positive impression and image of law enforcement. A fun fact about Tom is that he has an identical twin brother. When Tom is not at work he can be found enjoying the outdoors. Tom wants his students to know that its best to take advantage of advice being offered WHEN its being offered because there may come a time when help is not so readily available. Tom says his biggest challenge at Parkway is ensuring that Parkway stays secure.

We are excited to have Tom Noel on our SRO Security team and look forward to all the good work he will do at Fern Ridge High.

SRO Spotlight- Meet St. Louis County Officer Kyle Jundt. Kyle is an SRO at Parkway North high school and has been a police officer for 22 years. Kyle said he enjoys working with the students and staff and is excited to begin fostering relationships with them. A fun fact about Kyle is that he has 2 children and has been married to his wife Anne for 19 years. When Kyle is not at work he enjoys coaching and watching his kids play baseball, wrestling, and volleyball. He also enjoys fishing. Kyle wants his students to know that their hard work in the classroom will pay off. Kyle says his favorite time of the day is interacting with the students.

We are so excited to have Parkway North high school SRO Kyle Jundt on the team. We know he will do great work at Parkway North and will keep our students and staff safe.
