🏀TOMORROW!🏀

The PAL 3 on 3 summer basketball series starts tomorrow night at 5:00 PM at Charter Oak Park! Sign up when you get there (parent/guardian signature needed), grab a jersey, and hit the courts!

It's free to play for Manchester youth ages 5 to 18. You don't need to have a team, our professional referees help sort the teams along with blowing the whistle and keeping the courts going! Younger players work on skills with a little competition mixed in.

We can't wait to kick off some summer fun with you tomorrow night! 🔥

Please join us in congratulating Officer Tyler Coiro on graduating from POST Academy Session 389!

This important achievement marks the beginning of his law enforcement career. Officer Coiro will now enter the Field Training Program, where he will spend approximately 16 weeks working alongside experienced Field Training Officers. During this time, he will continue to develop his skills, gain valuable hands-on experience, and build the knowledge necessary to serve our community.

Please welcome our two newest Public Safety Dispatchers, who started with Manchester PD this week!

We are excited to welcome Nemesis Serrano (left) and Yanique Wright (right) to the Manchester Police Department and the Manchester community. Both will begin an intensive 16-week field training program in our Communications Center as they prepare for this critical role.

Public Safety Dispatchers are the vital link between our community and first responders. They are often the first voice people hear in an emergency, gathering crucial information, coordinating resources, and helping ensure police, fire, and EMS personnel can respond quickly and safely when every second counts.

We wish Nemesis and Yanique success as they begin their training and look forward to the important contributions they will make in serving our community. Welcome to the team!

🏀🔥3 ON 3 SUMMER BASKETBALL SERIES🔥🏀

The Manchester Police Activities League (PAL) Chief Berry 3 on 3 basketball tournament at Charter Oak Park starts NEXT FRIDAY, June 19th!

This program is free and open to any Manchester youth between ages 5 and 18 with games beginning at 5:00 PM. Just print and have a parent/guardian sign this waiver and bring it with you, or you can sign up when you get to the park with a parent/guardian present!

Waivers are also available at the front desk of the police department. See you next Friday! Don't miss out on the action!

Yesterday, we helped serve plates of delicious chicken and ribs to about 100 veterans at the Manchester Elks Lodge #1893 Annual Veterans BBQ. We appreciate the opportunity to show our Veterans and their families how thankful we are for their service!

Our officers were honored to participate in the Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics and carry the Flame of Hope from the Vernon town line to hand off at the South Windsor town line yesterday.

The LETR is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics Connecticut . We are proud to support and raise awareness for such an incredible organization and its athletes. Thank you to everyone who cheered us on!
