π¨ National Rescue Squad Week π¨
During National Rescue Squad Week, we proudly recognize the volunteers who dedicate their lives to serving others β often without hesitation, recognition, or rest.
At the Coffee County Rescue Squad, our members train countless hours to prepare for emergencies that most people hope they never experience. From dangerous rescue scenes to long nights away from home, our volunteers continue to answer the call because helping others is more than a duty β it is a passion!
Behind every pager tone is a VOLUNTEER willing to leave the comfort of their home, family dinners, holidays, birthdays, jobs and sleep to help someone they may have never met before.
This week is not only about recognizing the calls we respond to β it is about honoring the heart behind the badge. The teamwork, sacrifice, and compassion that Rescue Squad members show every single day.
We also want to recognize the families of our volunteers. Thank you for the late-night worries, missed time together, interrupted holidays, and constant support you provide behind the scenes. Without you, none of this would be possible.
For over 60 years, the Coffee County Rescue Squad has proudly served our community through emergencies, disasters, and difficult times. Even after devastating setbacks, our volunteers continue to rebuild, continue to train, and continue to serve with pride and dedication. Through every challenge, our volunteers continue to stand ready to respond whenever needed.
We are incredibly thankful for every current member, past member, mutual aid department, dispatcher, family member, and supporter who stands behind us and helps make our mission possible.
To every Rescue Squad member past and present:
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your courage.
Thank you for your heart to serve.
