It's a tough time to be in the search and rescue business. Not only are calls up significantly in many areas as more folks seek solace in the outdoors, but the pandemic has significantly slowed rescue team recruiting and training events, leading to fewer available workers in the field.

We’ve had some milder temps and most of the snow is gone. It’s a great opportunity to get out and ride, but don’t forget a few things. For example, the sun is still setting early, so make plans to finish up while it’s still bright out or bring lights. Wear reflective gear and make sure you bring your phone! Take a few minutes to prepare so that you’ll make it back safe and sound. Ride on.
