🚨SEASONAL EMT & PARAMEDIC OPPORTUNITY – JOIN OUR SUMMER TEAM!🚨

The Northshire Rescue Squad is hiring for Temporary EMTs and Paramedics to assist with summer event coverage.

📅 Position Dates: July 1 – August 10, 2025

💰 Hourly Rate: EMT - $25/hr., Paramedic - $35/hr.

We’re looking for licensed NREMT and VT EMTs and Paramedics with a valid VT driver’s license who are ready to serve their community and be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced department.

✨ These seasonal roles are a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while supporting a strong, mission-driven team.

Please join us in congratulating Deputy Chief Jim Morin on his retirement after 14 years of service as a paramedic with the Northshire Rescue Squad.

Yesterday, friends, fellow EMS providers and well other public service agencies gathered to celebrate his dedicated service to the Town of Manchester and the greater Northshire.

Thank you, Jim Morin for your selfless service, leadership, and camaraderie. Enjoy your well-earned retirement - you will be deeply missed!

On March 2nd at approximately 11:42am, the Manchester Communications Center received multiple calls in regards to a building fire on Upper road in Manchester. Manchester Police Department, Manchester VT. Fire Department and Northshire Rescue Squad responded, along with multiple Mutual Aid Fire and EMS agencies.

One subject from the home was found deceased, two others were transported with injuries via Medevac Helicopter, and two others were transported via Ambulance to the Hospital.

The investigation into this fire is ongoing, and additional information will be made available at a later time.
