Manchester Housing Authority provides income based housing for qualified families and individuals wishing to live in Manchester, TN. We are also in the process of completing a small NON income based but affordable rent elderly/disabled complex called Justin's court. We have family units consisting of 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedroom in a duplex setting and also have an elderly/disabled single story apartmen
t complex consisting of studio, 1, and 2-bedroom units. Our non-income based Justin's Court consists of 8 1-bedroom apartments arranged in 4 duplexes. If you would like an application for housing please stop by the office during office hours to pick one up, or message us and I will attach one in pdf form for you to download and print from your computer. Applications are accepted back two Tuesdays per month by appointment only....please call the office to schedule your appointment. We strive to provide one of the safest, well maintained low-income and elderly rental properties in the area. We have a playground at our family units and plant a community garden every year to try and provide our residents with fresh, healthy, homegrown vegetables throughout the summer. We have recently added a canopy with grill in the rear of the office, near the playground, as well as a newly built gazebo in the center of the Butler Circle cul-de-sac. We welcome our residents to use either one for every day use or for birthday parties and such. Also on the property is a wonderful program for school age children called All God's Children. It was founded and run by an all volunteer staff, many of them teachers and other employees of our local education system.
