It was an honor to host my office's 4th Annual Ribbons for a Reason Ceremony last night. This is a time dedicated to remembering the lives cut short by homicide in Coffee County. A special thank you to Jeff and Michelle Stevens for their beautiful tribute to their son, Jordan, who was murdered in 2020. Your testimony of the joy of your son as well as your journey through the grief of losing him was a wonderful ministry to all who were there. Each family that came to honor their loved ones, thank you as well. They each hung a ribbon on a garland in remembrance of their loved one, which will remain on display at the Coffee County Administrative Plaza through the end of the year.
