Veterans of Foreign Wars All-American Post 10904 hosts the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25 at the Manchester Arts Center Richard Claing, of Manchester’s VFW Post 10904, serves as Master of Ceremonies.

Thank you to our Post members who conducted an outstanding Memorial Day Ceremony today and in the America 250 theme. Special thanks to Richard Claing, our Master of Ceremonies, Jim Dobson, our special guest speaker, David King who recited the Old Ragged Flag with several members representing different periods in our history and Lloyd Smith who sings better than the original artists.
Last, thank you to the 14 members who helped pick up our Memorial Day Solar Cross project today. It was a really great, honorable day made possible by many caring and amazing veterans and friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our monthly fundraiser breakfast on Saturday. We had a really good turn out despite the rain and Memorial Day weekend. It was fun... as always... and delicious!

Friends, a long-time life member of our Post, Lester "Ray" Amos passed away on May 17th.
His funeral is tomorrow at the Manchester Funeral Home at 10 am.
Ray was a dear friend, who we had not seen in some time due to a long-term illness. But he did call me often just to catch up.
Ray enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1958 and served until 1979. Please keep Ray's family in your prayers as they deal with the loss of this dear friend. CDR King

Several events this week. Visit our Memorial Day Solar Cross project on the lawn of Peoples Bank & Trust now thru May 25th.
Our monthly VFW breakfast is this Saturday from 7 to 9:30 am. And our annual Memorial Day Ceremony is this coming Monday, May 25th at 11 am at the Manchester Arts Center.
We look forward to seeing you there.
