Bike To School Day!

Students, parents, family members, and local business vendors (featuring coffee, bike swag, Dutch-themed items, and breakfast treats) are invited to Chi-Bro Park on May 6, 2026 at 7:00 AM for our Bike To School Day event. At 7:45 AM, participants will bike, scooter, or walk together from the park along the eastern sidewalk of M-52 to Klager Elementary. The “bike parade” portion of the event will last approximately 15 minutes.

Important Reminders:

There is no student drop-off at the park. Students must arrive with a parent or guardian.

Students and bikes will be picked up at the school, not the park at the end of the day.

Please remember to collect your child’s bike from the Klager parking lot at the end of the school day. Staff will not be able to accommodate loading bikes into cars in the pick up loop.

To make the event even more fun, students will have the opportunity to decorate their bikes at Chi-Bro Park before we depart. If you’re able, we would greatly appreciate your generosity in helping us supply decorations by purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist.

If you have any questions please reach out to Ann Arwin at [email protected]. Thank you for your support in making this a fun, active, and community-building event for our students.

We look forward to seeing you there!
