Ensuring the survival of our Airmen is the heart of what Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialists do.

Becoming an expert requires intense training in how to survive the most hostile situations.

Here’s what to expect:
💪Basic Military Training (BMT) = 8 weeks
🔎SERE Specialist Screening Course = 19 days
🏋️SERE Specialist Training (SST) = 5 ½ months
🪂Army Airborne = 3 weeks

Don’t forget, those who enlist as a SERE Specialist are eligible to receive up to $40,000 as a part of the IEB program.
