🚨 New Apparatus Introduction – Rescue 1 🚨
The City of Manchester Fire Department would like to formally introduce Rescue 1, a brand-new 2026 Dodge Ram 4500 rescue truck.
Rescue 1 will respond to all rescue-related incidents our department is dispatched to and is equipped with a wide variety of tools and equipment, ranging from basic patient care and medical emergencies to vehicle extrication, technical rescue operations, and other specialized incidents. This apparatus enhances our ability to serve the community by providing personnel with the equipment needed to safely and effectively handle a broad range of emergencies.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the City Council, the Mayor, Chief Jason Nolan, Assistant Chief Charles Weaver, and everyone else who played a role in making the purchase, outfitting, and deployment of this truck possible.
Most importantly, we would like to thank the citizens we proudly serve. Your continued trust and support allow us to provide the highest level of service to our community. We remain committed to answering the call whenever and wherever we are needed.
The City of Manchester Fire Department stands ready to respond—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
