We could not be more proud to have helped elect the first Native American to the Connecticut Legislature!

By a more than 2 to 1 margin, and massive turnout, Larry Pemberton has won!

Thank you, everyone! We did it!

This is a historic result, one we worked very hard for, and I’m proud of this. But ultimately, this isn’t about me. It’s about the hardworking families of this district, the working- and middle-class folks who are running out ways to tighten their belts. Those people deserve someone who’s going to work for them, deliver lower costs, and fight back against the appalling travesty that our federal government has become. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

Richard Smith has reclaimed the Milford mayor’s office for Democrats, defeating Republican incumbent Tony Giannattasio, according to unofficial results.

Unofficial results posted outside the Registrar of Voters' office Tuesday night showed Smith with 9,907 votes and Giannattasio with 8,003.

First Black woman elected to Enfield's Town Council—and first person of color *ever* elected to their Town Council. This was a historic win, and we're proud to have moved the needle forward once again.

From electing the first Muslim mayor in Connecticut in 2013 to electing the first—and only—Black Judge of Probate in 2015 to electing the first person of color to the legislature from a rural district in 2018 to electing our first Sikh mayor in 2025 to helping more women become the first to held their office than we could count, Blue Edge has been moving the needle forward for nearly two decades.

Progress for Enfield is in good hands.
