CSX Schedules Railroad Crossing Closures on KY 552 and KY 1223 in Laurel County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that CSX Transportation will close two railroad crossings in Laurel County this week for crossing maintenance operations.

The first closure will be located on KY 552 at mile point 8.038. The closure is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, and the roadway is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.

During the closure, motorists should follow the signed detour route utilizing U.S. 25 and KY 363.

The second closure will be located on KY 1223 at mile point 1.886. The closure is also scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, and the roadway is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.

Motorists traveling on KY 1223 should follow the signed detour route utilizing KY 3431.

CSX Schedules Two Railroad Crossing Closures on KY 26 in Whitley County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that CSX Transportation will close two separate railroad crossings along KY 26 in Whitley County this week for crossing maintenance operations.

The first closure will be located at mile point 1.75 and is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9. The roadway is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.

The second closure will be located at mile point 5.5 and is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 11. The roadway is expected to reopen by 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.

During both closures, motorists should follow the signed detour route utilizing KY 3041 and U.S. 25.

CSX Schedules Railroad Crossing Closure on KY 1006 in Laurel County

CSX Transportation will close a section of KY 1006 in Laurel County beginning Monday, June 8, for railroad crossing maintenance.

The closure will be located at mile point 0.4 and is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, June 8. The roadway is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

During the closure, motorists should follow the signed detour route using U.S. 25, KY 1189 and KY 229.

Drivers are encouraged to allow additional travel time, use caution in the work zone area and watch for crews and equipment.

🚨🚨 Traffic Advisory For Thursday, June 4 🚨🚨

Closure Scheduled on Hal Rogers Parkway in Clay County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that bridge load testing operations will finish on the Hal Rogers Parkway in Clay County on Thursday, June 4.

The Hal Rogers Parkway will be closed to all traffic between the Manchester Exit at mile point 20.5 and the junction with KY 873 at mile point 27.4 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, to allow crews to finish the bridge load testing operations.
