On 5-13-26 at 1915 hrs Engine 26-1 with Ch 26-2( Johnson) Car 26, Traffic 26, Ch 26 ( Vogelsong) and Deputy Ch 26 ( Haugh) responded to Taylor and Matthew for duckings in a storm drain. Car 26 arrived and confirmed 3 ducklings in the storm drain. Crews removed the storm drain and made quick work of recovering the 3 ducklings. The ducklings were reunited with mom and their many siblings. Box in Service at 1940hrs. Photo’s PC 26.

Late Post: 0n 5-3-26 at 1157 hrs Rescue 26 with Ch 26( Vogelsong) Ch 26-1 ( Small) , Car 26, Engine 26-4 and Traffic 26 Responded to an MVA with Injuries at Lewisberry and Canal. Car 26 ( PC 26 Wertz) arrived confirmed 2 vehicles blocking, requested road closures and advised units responding of a very large debris field. Crews mitigated, the leaking fluids and the debris field. Ch 26-1 with the command. Fire Police from 26 , 89-5 and 6 handled road closures and traffic control. Ambo 6-2 handled EMS duties. On 4-28-26 at 0951 hrs Engine 26-1 with Ch26-2 ( Johnson) ,Ch 26-1 (Small ) responded to assist Station 31 on a Working Vehicle on I 83 NB at mm 30.8.
Upon arrival engine 26-1’s crew deployed a 1 3/4 foam attack line to assist 31 ‘s crew with extinguishing a stubborn fuel fed fire under the vehicle. Engine 26-1 used 750 gallons of water and 2 buckets of foam and 150 ft of 1 3/4 hose to assist in extinguishment. A total of 5 members responded on this incident. Box in service at 1050 hrs. At 2151 hours, Station 26 was dispatched to the intersection of East Canal Road and Bull Road for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Chief 26, Chief 26-1, Car 26, Engine 26-2, Engine 26-4, Rescue 26, and Traffic 26 responded. Crews assisted with debris removal. All units remained on scene for approximately one hour.

On 4-23-26 at 1331 hrs Deputy 26 ( Haugh) Eng 26-2 with Lt 26 (Hull) Car 26 and FP 26-1 Responded to a Public Service Dispatch for 4 kittens in a storm drain. Crews arrived and removed the drain cover and removed the 4 small kittens.( all appeared in good health) a total of 5 members responded on this incident. Box in service at 1350 hrs.
