Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is inviting eligible organizations serving the Greater Manchester area to apply for the Build Back Better Regional Challenge Community Grant Program. The program is designed to strengthen the regional biofabrication workforce pipeline by helping residents overcome barriers to education, training, and employment. Deadline to apply: Friday, June 12, 2026

Eligibility: Non-profits and public entities in Southern NH
Funding: $2 Million available in total, with individual awards ranging from $50,000 - $300,000

Shoutout to Manchester Connects, SEE Science Center, and Big Sam Paints for completing the new mural on Canal Street! It was created to help improve the pedestrian experience at a crucial pathway between Downtown Manchester and the Millyard.

A new public mural was installed at the embankment along Canal and Pleasant Streets in Manchester on Saturday, May 16.

Transit Service Update Notice

Effective Summer 2026, the following service changes will take place:

Route 42: Northside Plaza / Livingston Park
Will operate as a free fare route
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Service will run throughout the summer and conclude at the start of the fall school term
Town of Chester Service
Town of Chester will no longer be served by CART
Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Commerce Dr. – Route 4
This route will be discontinued
Final Day of Service: July 3, 2026
