The Officers and Members would like to CONGRATULATE our member Derek Haugh on his graduation from The Harford County Sheriff's Department last night. Several members were in attendance as Derek received his badge after 7 months of extensive training while a member of Class EL 38. WELCOME BACK DEPUTY HAUGH, WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENT!

This evening Junior Advisors Eckenrode and Beck pulled available Junior FF’s together for a meeting and then training. Tonight’s training consisted of Rig Familiarization on Engine 26-2, followed by deck gun and booster line operations, and hydrant operations. Senior members joined the training to assist the juniors in learning techniques and proper use of such equipment. Our Junior program is continuing to grow, and we are now up to 7 active junior ff’s. This evening, under instruction of one of the Junior advisors, (Eckenrode) juniors refreshed and practiced dawning turnout gear and SCBA’s. Junior strive to prepare for future trainings, education, and service to the community in Conewago township. Continue the hard work juniors, you are the future of the Strinestown Community Fire Company!
