Congratulations to the Iowa Firefighters Association on the passage of SF 2086 - a Junior Fire Fighter program that allows for high school juniors and seniors to complete FireFighter One training and become certified before graduation. This will be extremely valuable to both volunteer and career departments with recruitment efforts across the state.

With Kent Brix, IFA President, and Mike Kime, IFA 1st Vice President

As winter weather approaches, please remember to keep at least 3 feet of space clear around any fire hydrant near your property.

Keeping hydrants accessible helps firefighters respond quickly in an emergency.

Con la llegada del clima invernal, recuerde mantener al menos 3 pies de espacio libre alrededor de cualquier hidrante cerca de su propiedad.
