On Monday, the Town presented Carolyn Anderson with the Boston Post Cane in honor of being the eldest resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea. Carolyn celebrated her 100th birthday in June.

Members from the Select Board, Council on Aging, and Elder Brethren were on hand to commemorate the occasion.

The Boston Post Cane is a New England tradition that started in 1909 by the publisher of the Boston Post Newspaper. https://bostonpostcane.org/

The Council on Aging had some lobster fun today at their monthly lunch at Tuck's Point! Thank you to State Senator Bruce Tarr for his help serving up the chowder and lobster rolls. It was a beautiful day to visit with friends while sharing a delicious meal.
