Music moves us. How does music play a note in your life?

This mid-winter music & storytelling workshop will give you tools for communicating how music inspires you to process, understand, and make sense of life’s myriad experiences. In this one-day workshop,we’ll enjoy live music from members of a local symphony ensemble. We’ll immerse ourselves in the music before we spend the rest of the time writing poems, essays, or short stories based on the notes we hear. You’ll have an opportunity to read your work aloud and trade drafts with fellow participants. You’ll leave the workshop inspired and confident to keep going, keep writing, and celebrate the power of music in your life.
