As many of you know, Frank Matero, the visionary behind the Mancos Common Press, passed away on December 19, 2025, after an extended battle with cancer.

In honor of Frank's memory and immense contribution to Mancos Common Press and the region, and as an architectural preservationist of international renown, a celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 28th, 1-3 pm at Mancos Commons, 143 Grand Ave. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome!

We are so excited for this Saturday's BurroFest! We will be open 10 am - 4 pm and will have printing demos and more!

And check out our newly stocked Art Vending Machine (formerly at Fenceline), now stocked with fun, affordable printed items. The vending machine is located in the courtyard of the Commons just outside of the entrance doors.

Put on by , BurroFest is a celebration of creativity, community, and the spirited character of Southwest Colorado. Don't miss it!

Had a wonderful Solar Plate Etching class with the incomparable printmaker Maureen May from Durango! Solar plate etching is such a versatile and non-toxic way to etch plates for intaglio printmaking. We learned so many ways to use this plate developed years ago by Dan Welden. 😎☀️
